Waking up in Muscat: The beginning of your adventurous wedding journey
Day 2 of 5
Imagine opening your eyes and the warm morning light streaming through the curtains of your luxury suite in Muscat, the capital of Oman. Here begins your unique honeymoon, a perfect combination of adventure, romance and unforgettable experiences.
You wake up in Muscat. This morning you are at The Chedi, a beautiful luxury accommodation where the first photoshoot will take place! Get ready for the first moment that you will see each other in wedding clothes. We use the soft morning light, the beautiful hotel and great surroundings for photos with a luxurious look. After lunch you exchange the heels for comfortable shoes because we are picked up by our driver. We travel towards the mountain area, to Jebel Akhdar. This is considered one of the most beautiful routes in Oman! Jebel Akhdar, also called the Green Mountain, is known for the many plantations and old villages that you can find here.
In addition, you will find one of the most luxurious hotels in Oman here: the Alila Jebel Akhdar. We arrive here in the afternoon and spend the night here.
Alila Jebel Akhdar
Day 2 of 5
Alila Jebel Akhdar has a luxurious look against the rugged backdrop of the mountains. Here too, we use the morning light to take photos at the various viewpoints. You in your beautiful clothes with a backdrop of high mountains, a deep valley and warm light. From the mountains we travel further to the vast plains of the Wahiba Sands. A drive of about three hours where we also visit the mountain village of Bikrat al Mouz, located at the foot of Jebel Akhdar. We travel to the desert village of Al Wasil and go deep into the desert for an overnight stay. When the golden hour makes its entrance, we will take photos with a golden edge!
The red-orange desert colors when the sun slowly sets and you tell each other the vows with bare feet through the desert hills. Then we prepare for a dinner around the campfire where I of course also take romantic photos, enjoying the grandeur and silence in the desert and sleeping under the stars.
Banu Khalid Road
Day 4 of 5
You wake up in the vast sand plains of the Wahiba Sands. After breakfast in the desert, we travel about 1 hour further to the Waddi Banu Khalid: one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman. The locals also like to come here on their weekends. After a 10-minute walk, we arrive at the first natural pool, a beautiful oasis surrounded by palm trees. Here we prepare ourselves for a photo shoot between the rugged sand-colored rocks and turquoise waters and walk a little further, because the pool further on is even more beautiful!
Once we are done with the photoshoot, you can take a dip and we will prepare for the return journey to Muscat for a delicious dinner at one of the most beautiful hotels in the city. In the evening you will be taken to the airport by private transfer, the next night you will fly back home.
In addition to the planned photoshoots, everything of the trip itself is also captured on film. From the shared breakfast to walking hand in hand during a visit to one of the villages. This trip is all about you and the love you have for each other.
