Elopement Wedding in the Iconic Streets of Paris
Paris, the city of love, has an irresistible appeal for couples who dream of an intimate and romantic wedding.
An elopement wedding in Paris promises to be an enchanting experience, filled with iconic locations, delicious food and unforgettable moments.
Let's take a look at some essential aspects of planning such a unique event.
Iconic Photography Spots
The Eiffel Tower: A symbol of romance, the Eiffel Tower provides a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photos, especially at sunrise or sunset. Keep in mind that Paris is ALWAYS busy, so choose a time when you are less bothered by all the tourists.
Paleis de Chailot: offers a beautiful view towards the Eifel Tower. Unfortunately, this place is often full of people. TIP: There are two large stairs, of which the right staircase is often used by tourists. The left staircase is much quieter, with just as beautiful a view! There is also a small park with beautiful greenery and flowers! Perfect! (Don't tell anyone)
Montmartre and the Sacré-Cœur: This picturesque district and the majestic Sacré-Cœur Basilica offer charming streets and panoramic views of Paris.
The Tuileries Gardens and the Louvre: Stroll hand in hand through the beautiful Tuileries Gardens and take photos with the impressive Louvre in the background.
Pont Alexandre III: This beautiful bridge, decorated with golden statues and pretty lanterns, provides a romantic setting for wedding photos on the Seine. NB! There are many boats in the water, so that involves a lot of photoshop work and many photo shoots are also done here. The last time we were there, we really had to take our place and just send people out of the way because they were walking through the screen very drowsily.
Notre-Dame and the Seine Bank: The majestic Notre-Dame Cathedral and the picturesque banks of the Seine provide an idyllic backdrop for your wedding day.
There is always a lot of construction going on in Paris, so check in advance whether there is any work going on at the places you want to visit.
Culinary Adventures
After a romantic photo shoot, it's time to enjoy the culinary delights that Paris has to offer. For a delicious dinner with a small group, here are some suggestions:
Le Jules Verne: Enjoy an unforgettable culinary experience on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower, with stunning views of the city.
L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon: Discover refined French cuisine at this renowned restaurant, led by renowned chef Joël Robuchon.
Le Cinq: Located in the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel George V, Le Cinq offers an elegant and gastronomic experience in an atmospheric setting.
Restaurant Guy Savoy: Be surprised by the creative and refined dishes of chef Guy Savoy, awarded several Michelin stars.
Les Ombres: Enjoy panoramic views of the Eiffel Tower as you dine at this modern restaurant, located within the Musée du Quai Branly.
Cost of an Elopement Wedding in Paris
The cost of an elopement wedding in Paris can vary greatly depending on factors such as the location, the number of guests, and the suppliers you choose. In general, you can expect the cost of an elopement wedding in Paris to be somewhere between €2,000 and €10,000. This includes costs for a photographer, wedding license, possible venue rental, dinner and accommodation.
All in all, an elopement wedding in Paris offers an intimate and unforgettable experience for couples who dream of a romantic and enchanting wedding. With breathtaking locations, delicious food and the magical atmosphere of the city of love, your elopement wedding in Paris will be a moment to cherish forever.
